Maybe I'm Amazed

Artist: Paul McCartney

Written in 1969 just before the break-up of the Beatles, this was one of McCartney's very first releases as a solo artist. Penned in honour of his wife Linda, this is a totally stunning song. It was at the absolute outside top end of Paul's vocal range, as can be witnessed by recent live versions where he adjusts the tune to avoid the real screamers.  We have transposed it down a bit to make it comfortable for Pete who never sounds better than when singing a McCartney vocal.
