Pete played with a handful of bands before joining Official Secrets (now Dupe) in 1984.  At school he was in a band called Fusion with Pete Ludlow and Pete Goldsmith. Pete and Dave knew each other from school and before Pete joined, he and Dave entertained themselves by making home recordings of 60s songs using an old four-track reel-to-reel.
